Responsible for driving research and university strategies, as well as the national strategy in science, research, and innovation through phenomics and bioinformatics technology. The role involves advancing research alongside product development in collaboration with the industrial sector, utilizing internationally recognized standards in phenomics and bioinformatics technology. It also includes providing academic services in these fields, developing and offering degree programs and certification courses in science, research, and innovation based on phenomics and bioinformatics technology.
Additionally, the responsibilities extend to producing postgraduate researchers at the master’s and doctoral levels with expertise in phenomics and bioinformatics, ensuring they are well-prepared for the labor market and can compete at national and international levels with high quality and recognition. The position also supports and fosters innovation driven by knowledge, skills, and experience in phenomics and bioinformatics to directly address the needs of industries such as medicine, food, and pharmaceuticals.
Moreover, the role involves establishing and strengthening networks both domestically and internationally to promote collaborative research and innovation development in phenomics and bioinformatics, ultimately elevating the university to a globally competitive standing.
